Grzegorz Skrobiński is a Polish pianist specializing in chamber music and solo performance. He holds a Ph.D. and habilitation from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music (UMFC) in Warsaw, where he currently serves as a professor in the Department of Chamber Music. He is also the official pianist of the prestigious Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition in Poznań.
A graduate of UMFC, he studied piano under Professor Elżbieta Tarnawska and chamber music under Professor Katarzyna Jankowska-Borzykowska. Throughout his artistic development, he has worked with distinguished musicians and pedagogues, including Kevin Kenner, Dang Thai Son, Hiroko Nakamura, Sergei Babayan, John O’Conor, Jerzy Marchwiński, Viera Nossina, Viera Gornostayeva, Ewa Pobłocka, Andrzej Tatarski, Kazimierz Michalik, Andrzej Bauer, Ivan Monighetti, and many others.

Skrobiński performs regularly on major concert stages in Poland, including the National Philharmonic and Sinfonia Varsovia in Warsaw, the National Forum of Music in Wrocław, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra Hall in Katowice, the Royal Castle in Warsaw, and the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music in Lusławice. His international concert activity spans Europe, Asia, and Africa.
He collaborates with many prominent artists, including Konstanty Andrzej Kulka, Bartłomiej Nizioł, Janusz Wawrowski, Wojciech Koprowski, Agata Szymczewska, Hina Maeda, and Dayoon You. He has also performed with Tomasz Strahl, Alexander Sitkovetsky, Jakub Jakowicz, Katarzyna Budnik, Marcin Zdunik, Urszula Kryger, Szymon Krzeszowiec, Piotr Janosik, Aleksander Neustroev, among many others.

His discography includes five critically acclaimed albums: Modern Soul (with Agata Szymczewska), Different Things(with Marcin Markowicz), Per Musica ad Astra (with Marta Gębska), Halina Krzyżanowska – Chamber Music (with Andrzej Gębski), and Nowakowski – Chopin (with the Warsaw String Ensemble and Marta Gębska), featuring world premiere recordings of Józef Nowakowski’s chamber works.
In addition to his performance career, Skrobiński is an accomplished educator. He teaches at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music and the Karol Szymanowski State Music Schools in Warsaw. His students consistently achieve top prizes in national and international chamber music competitions. He is also regularly invited to serve as a jury member in piano and chamber music competitions.
As a lecturer, he conducts masterclasses throughout Poland, including at renowned courses in Książ, Piła, Łańcut, Kołobrzeg, Zakopane, Lusławice, Suwałki, and Krynica Górska.
